On Saturday, August 15, 2015, Rum River Automotive is hosting a special event at their auto shop from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Rum River would like to help those in need in the Princeton community through their “Helping Hands” program. Rum River Automotive will provide basic car service and repairs at no charge to candidates that have been nominated by Rum River’s current list of customers.
Those eligible for nomination include existing customers, friends of customers, or Princeton’s community members-at-large. As you visit Rum River Automotive for car service or car repair, you will be given a handout with the eligibility rules and an email address to send in your nomination.
Helping Hands -- Supporting the community
Auto Value and Napa have volunteered to partner with Rum River Automotive by providing the parts for basic car repair and car service. Some of the services available on that day are:
- Oil and filter changes
- Air and fuel filter replacement
- Tire repairs, tire rotation, tire balancing, mount and balance tires (customer provided)
- Basic brake repairs
- Alignments
- Basic chassis & suspension repairs
- Radiator hoses & belts
- Windshield chip repair provided by ABRA
In addition to basic car service and car repair for eligible candidates, there will also be a drawing from the candidate pool for four free tickets to the Princeton Speedway.
